A group of friends from NYC came to the Finger Lakes to explore some of the natural landscapes our region has to offer. Herons, Osprey, and Bald Eagles, along with numerous other bird species put on a show for us on our 11-mile paddle on the Montezuma Loop tour. Even a young beaver swam in front of us. Going through lock 25 on the Erie canal was a new experience for all of them. It was an all-around stunning day for each of us.
